QUINS END IRONMENS SEVEN MATCH UNBEATEN RUN MERTHYR 21 CARMARTHEN QUINS 33 Lively Carmarthen quins ended the ironmen’s 7 match unbeaten run and in doing so closed the gap at the top of the premiership league table to just 2 points. Merthyr began the game the better of the two sides as they took the game to the quins. A lineout won close to the quin’s line was swiftly moved wide and it looked as if the ironmen had taken the lead, but the referee Rhys Thomas adjudged the ball was held up short. From the scrum 5, the ironmen drove the quins backwards and were penalised for collapsing the scru.....
